About Me

Hi, I'm Adam! Originally from north east England (UK), I now work remotely as a principal animator for NetEase Games. I've been animating professionally in the games industry for 12+ years, recently being nominated for the Annie Awards 2021 as part of the League of Legends team submission and was previously featured in the Develop '30 Under 30' list in 2017.

The majority of my animation career has been focused on 3D gameplay animation, primarily within hand-keyed, stylized action and combat but I also have experience in many other areas from 2D, Pixel Art, Cinematic and Motion Capture. I started my time in the industry as a 2D Flash Animator and have always loved venturing into other mediums wherever possible. One of the things I love about animation is that it is not defined by any specific medium or tool and can be achieved in any form you choose, giving a huge sense of creative freedom with an infinitely varied number of paths to take.

Outside of my day-to-day animation work I also love designing and developing my own games and being a big part of the games and animation communities. I host my own animation blog that links to hundreds of resources, stream regularly and create animation breakdown tutorials.
